taskbar problem

My Quick Launch bar has suddenly stopped appearing when I restart the
computer. I
can get it to restart once the computer is started again, but it will not
automatically come up each time nor remember the order of the programs that
I have put in it.
Anyone have an idea of where to look to get this to automatically start each
time I restart my computer?
