TD APIs/command line

Posted: 07-30-2003, 07:23 AM
I am working in some project where the Target Designer needs to be
called from some front-end process. However I am not sure whether this
could be done. The idea is to provide the user with a list of
components from where he/she can choose and build the .sld file from
that and call TD with that file to generate the image. I have the
following questions:

1) Is it posssible to build an .sld file from the user selection
manually?(since after all, this is an xml file).

2) Would it be possible to use the TD like this? I found neither
command line which takes an .sld file as arguement nor any APIs.

3) If it cannot be done this way, could anyone suggest me some other
approach to achieve this?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
