Tearing paper as it prints!

Posted: 09-03-2003, 05:32 PM
I have been having a lot of problems printing today.
Could not print at all, then I changed the color ink
cartridge. The black ink is still full. Now it will
print and it literally is shredding down 2 columns of the
page. The holes are from 1/4" to 3/4" with 1/2" to 1" in
between the punched out holes. The tears are from
something poking through the back part of the page and
then leaving all parts of the page there. So I don't
think any small pieces of paper are jamming in the
machine. Never had my printer shred apart my pages for
me--what do I do?
