| Hello, i just installed Vista RC1 on one of computers in my network... installation went smooth so i had no problems with that... then i started IE and wanted to browse something but most pages i tried to open stoped loading after few seconds. so i tried opening google.com and it opened well. windows live search page also opened well. But for example Microsoft KB site would just load the header of the page and stop there (even if the status bar is showing as it is still loading it) and nothing happenes from that point on. And this isn't just happening on Microsoft KB page, but on every page that has more content then google. I even tried opening my ISP's website, but with no luck. Just to mention that all this is working from all other workstations in my network. It also worked from the PC i installed Vista on (it had XP pro on it) I also noticed that it's not just IE, but also other things... Windows update is unable to update for some reason. Since i'm playing World of Warcraft i tried that too... i managed to login into the game but while the game was downloading server status (loading all the characters arround me, or basically while i was receiving data from the server) i get disconnected. If somehow i try to download any file, my download rate drops almost to 0 and that's it. I'd also like to mention that accessing other network resouces from that machine is working fine it's just internet. And i installed Vista on IBM ThinkCentre, so it shouldn't have any driver problems. and the same thing happened when i installed it on another IBM laptop. anyone know a solution or something for this?! cheers Sergej | Guest

| If you IPv 6 is turned on the LAN Connection properties under TCP/IP Settings, then uncheck and try browsing again. Its also a possibility that Protected Mode could be interfering with your browsing experience, you try disabling that and try browsing again. A few months back, some users reported similar issue and filtered the problem down to their router, they had to disable something called SPI. -- http://adacosta.spaces.live.com "Invent" <sbatovanja@undp.ba> wrote in message news:e0Yg3ob0GHA.4252@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl...
