Thank God that I have a MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscription!

Thank God that I have a MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscription, with
access to the Windows Vista Beta 2 Download via MSDN Subscriber Download's,
because the Public Beta Direct Download Link's do NOT work, just FYI. The
32 Bit Direct Download Link only gives you the first 721 KB's of the 32Bit
download, just FYI, and the 64 Bit Direct Download Link only gives you the
first 13.7 MB's of the Download, also just FYI.

P.S. I still wish that Microsoft would come to their senses and let me back
into the Private Microsoft Connect Windows Vista Beta, after all the only
reason that I dropped out of it is, because Windows Vista Beta 1 would NOT
work on my computer, just FYI. I guess I shouldn't keep holding my breath,
however.

I had no problems at all yesterday downloading the 64 bit Vista. Didn't
even drop off once ;o)

But I guess the servers are still getting a hammering.

Download link worked fine for me (and about a million others). Patience is
a virtue.

I don't know if this is just a coincidence or not but three time on using
the direct link it would stop at exactly 2 gigs, and say the download was
complete which of course it wasn't so I went to my internet options general
tab, deleted the temp files, clicked on settings and moved the slider on the
amount of disk space to use, over as far as it would allow me to and low and
behold the download completed the entire 3.13 gigs. Try doing that in case
that's the prob.

Has the period key on your keyboard been remapped to "just FYI?" You might
want to check for viruses, spyware, and trojans

This is one of the uses for BitTorrent. Got me finished much sooner than I
ever would have, had the download worked in the first place.
