The operation could not be completed

Hi,

I just bought a HP a350n computer with XP (I'm coming form Windows 98).

Having the following problems:
1.When I log on, the following message keeps appearing:
“The ordinal 58 could not be located in the dynamic link library atl.dll.”

2. I can’t print anything. I have an HP Deskjet 648C the was connected to my old computer with Windows 98. I tried downloading the latest driver for XP form HP's website, but afyrer downloading when I go to “Printers and Faxes” add the printer a put up window appears saying “The operation could not be completed”.
