The Sims "Not Enough Space" Install Error

Whenever I try to install the Sims Deluxe edition I get this error
message:

However, there is also a Sims Deluxe Edition on the installed programs
list on the "Uninstall a Program" Window. Whenever I try to uninstall
this it says the exact same thing.

Help! This game is driving me crazy!
