"This page can`t be displayed" UPDATE

Parts of certain webpages aren`t appearing.

Instead I get an "i" inside a rectangle with the message above.

I`ve tried system restore and had no success.

It appears that I can`t see adverts (and the like) that use animations.

I`ve made sure that I have this option checked in the advanced internet
options tab.

Could I be missing the software that displays such content?

If so what should I download to solve the problem?
