This probably has a simple answer but....

Using Vista Ult I have my network icon showing on the task bar tray. How
come sometimes when there's a red "x" through the network icon meaning I'm
not currently connected (I'm always connected via cable modem) I dbl-clk ie
icon and go about surfing as usual. Is this another Vista grievance that
will be fixed with SP1 in 2010?

The system tray icon appears (and the network sharing window) appears to lag
behind what the machine is actually doing. I've noticed this as well.
