Re: thumbnail in My Pictures folder just show as an icon

Click on Start and click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
You will get a "success" message.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
Then, right click on a jpg and click on Open with on the opening menu. Click
on Choose program at the bottom of the list. A window will open, select
Windows Picture and Fax viewer and check the box "Always...."
You may have to do the same right click with tif and gif. For Raw, you need
your PE 3. Windows picture and fax viewer cannot open Raw files.

Thankyou for your help - this worked for all but the Tiff image, untill I
realised that I had been saving my Tiff images in a zipped format!
