wish now to upload them to a web site but they have to be in JPEG format. Is
there any way around this problem?

Re: TIF photos
Bring the images into an editing program and save as... MS Paint will do this as wellas a host of like products.

If you want to covert a lot of TIF files into JPEG you can batch convertwith the following free software:
www.irfanview.com
