Maybe I'm doing something wrong.....

If I add a clip in the middle of a movie, all the clips to the right of it
move to the right to make room. However, the text in the separate timeline
does not move with it. I have to go back and allign all of the text.
Is there a way to move everything in sync?

Dick

No , there is no orther way it must be done manually.WMM
is a great program but could still improve on many
fasets.I am using three programs,Dassle Fusion, Pinnicale
Fusion and WMM.If we can only combine the three programs
it would be great

workaround I use for this when I have to...

when you insert a video clip
then go to the audio track and select the next audio item past where the new
clip started, scroll to the end of the timeline and Shift-click the last
audio item, drag them the same distance as the new clip is long if they are
all selected they will all drag together - so at least you only have to line
them up once

what I usually try to do is to edit the video track first - then the audio,
then overlay titles, though I agree this is not always possible and
sometimes you want to work both ways and would like some way to lock things
together
