Timing in Moviemaker

Hello!

I'd like to make a movie with several static images in it.
Each static images should be displayed for about 5
seconds? Is this possible with the windows moviemaker?

Yes, it is possible. Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Picture Duration:
set it to 5 sec.
Then you just have to drag your images from the collection to the timeline.

I think I have the false version. With Version 1.1.2427.1 it is not possible to do that?

I think you should download MM version 2 from the Microsoft website.

Yes. Before I will do that, I'd like to ask you if you also know VirtualDub and if you have ever worked with that software?

Timing in Moviemaker

Select Tools from the menu bar and then Options. Here is
where you choose the length of time your picture is
displayed.
