| Within IE, View, Font Size..... if you increase it, does it change the print font size? Which make and model printer is this? -- Cari (MS-MVP) <waving back at PA Bear!> Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "PA Bear" <PABearMVP@gmail.com> wrote in message news:%23Vqke9YaHHA.2436@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... | I've been having the same problem with IE (vers. 7.0.600.386, provided by Dell) - with both a HP LJ3015 and Epson RX700 with my computer - and also a Canon MP600 with my wife's computer. Thus this problem cuts across both computers and printers. If I go to Print Preview, and change Shrink to Fit to 100% it works, otherwise normally everything is shunken. View/Text Size is set to medium. Many thanks for any guidance about this rather annoying problem - and my apologies for my previous failed attempts at postings when I was on road. -- Burt "Cari (MS-MVP)" wrote: Quote:

| I have an HP photosmart c4240 printer and Windows Vista and no matter what I print the words are extremely small. I've tried direct chat with HP and they gave me a link to go to but it turned out to be info only not directions to change whatever settings were involved to fix the problem. So fortunately I've found your community hoping for a solution. I've heard that Vista has it's problems but so far the only problem for me has been with the size of words I've tried to print. Has anyone run across this problem? Surely I can't be the only one......? I understand that I can go into file, print preview and adjust it from there but is that gonna be necessary for everything I want to print? I would greatly appreciate any help you can give. thanks | Guest

| If I'm understanding you correctly, I'm using Internet Explorer 7. I'm not trying to do anything fancy. I just want to be able to print whatever page I'm looking at with- out having to go through setting it up in wordpad or any other program. I just want to print something AND be able to read it. | From the toolbar in IE, select View, then Font Size and make the default larger than the present setting. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Marian Hill" <MarianHill@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1EC9ADEA-AEFE-465A-B4F8-53D8EE4C1057@microsoft.com...
