Re: Too many monitors in the device manager

This is an update... I still show 3 monitors in my hardware manager, but I am able to display what is on my PC monitor on my TV. It will mirror anything that is displayed, however, to view videos in windows media played, I must first turn on my WinDVD. If WinDVD is not open, then you can see the media player and a black space where the video should be displayed on the TV, but normal on the PC monitor. The best way I can explain it is, when I open WinDVD, the screen clicks off and then back on. My guess is that it is opening the S-Video out. Anyway it works for now, but I still do not understand why it shows 3 monitors in the devise manager. ANY AND ALL INPUT IS WELCOME!!!

I hooked and S-Video out cable to my Nvidia MX 440 to my new TV. Now my
device manager is showing 3 monitors. 1 plug and play and 2 default monitors
(winset). I'm not sure what the "(winset)" represents. All I want is for my
TV to mirror the images on my monitor. So, where did the extra monitor come
from? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. PLEASE HELP

Has any one ever seen this in their device manager? I am trying to figure
out why 3 monitors are displayed.

You card might have come out with VGA, S-Video and DVI D-Sub
When connecting anyone of these three to more and 1 monitor, would result in
3 monitors being displayed, although only 2 are active and one can still be
connected.

I have the Soltek GF4 FX5200 with the same thing, don't worry about it,
unless you connect a third screen and you are unable to change settings or
it does not detect the 3rd screen, then only worry.
