Toolbar shade

Posted: 11-04-2003, 04:06 AM
The toolbars fade from left to right as light color to
slightly darker color. Where can we change this to be
same shade across entire toolbar? Can not find anything
in display properties for toolbar color. Only the title
bars (active and inactive) have two color change settings
and both color settings are same. Thanx

Hi,

The gradient options are only offered via Classic. Active setting is a
window say as Notepad (top border). Inactive say as IE (very top border).
What are you calling Toolbar?

Should have included all this:
----------------------------------
Top Toolbar is File -> Help + Address + Back button only
Under this is Links: total 16 Links (10 sub-links each)
---------------------------------------------------
That's my only two toolbars. No ebay or google or yahoo.
Using XP style in start menu and display/appearance.
(classic is too boring and flat)
Scheme color = XP Silver. Green and blue are too dark.
Setting = 800x600 / Color = 16 bit / Screen size = 13"
Font size = normal / Desktop = Hallmark Nov calendar.
-----------------------------------------------
The gradient (could not remember that word - thx) is
across both toolbars at same time. It's not major
problem; just can it be changed without major surgery?

It would be real nice if the windows 'flag' background in
the toolbar was same color as toolbar also
