Toshiba DVD-Rom Drive

I upgraded to Windows XP professional a few weeks back
and ever since then I am unable to write to my DVD
drive. I have tried to do a drag and drop and the Copy
Wizard comes up and prompts me to put in a CD in the
Toshiba CD-writer drive. The Wizard does not recognize
the CD when I do put one in. I can play a CD from this
drive so I know that Windows rcongnizes it. Thanks for
any help.
