Total number of pages printed

Most laser printers have a "print test page" option (look
in your manual). Usually, this page has details like how
much memory is in the printer, etc. This page also
usually has a running total page count (like an odometer
on your car). It can't be reset, but since the printer
is new, it will tell you how many pages you got out of
this toner cartridge. If you write the number down, you
can subtract it later from your new total to get pages
printed on the second toner cartridge.
