What equipment do I need to transfer my old vcr home movies over to dvd????
I have a new Dell with the movie maker program,,, I want to get a external
DVD burner and then what ( I hear that there is one called a Dazzle) I think.
But-
what would I need to do all this ?????
External DVD burner ????
Hardware for such ?????

I think I have the rest of the required needs.
If someone is skilled on this subject, please let me know.

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your VHS home movies...you don't need
a computer. A DVD Recorder like the
following example may be worth a look.

Here's one example:

However if you plan to edit your movies...
Maybe the following links will give you an
idea of what's involved.

You have Movie Maker version 2.1. The 5.1
is referring to your version of Windows XP.

And no... Movie Maker won't import video
from a VCR and burn it to a DVD. Read the
articles I posted for you.
