Transfer XP License

I have XP Home on my computer (not OEM). I purchased XP
Professional. I'd like to upgrade my computer to XP
Professional(it's the full version, not an upgrade) and
be able to load XP Home on my kid's computer. It is
possible to do this, and if so how?
