transfering from mini dv directly to dvd

im using xp home, Hp dvd burner,samsung mini dv camcorder, why does my video
look good on playback on the tv but when I try usb to the computer its all
digital looking and blury. All I want to do is transfer from the tape to dvd
disk and have look like the playback I see on the screen either on the camera
itself or tv.HEEEEELP!!

Have you tried importing the video via
your IEEE 1394 Firewire connection?

And...if all you wish to do is transfer
the movies to DVD...you might consider
using a DVD recorder:
