transfering pics

Posted: 02-15-2005, 09:21 PM
I am in the process of transfering pics form 3 1/2 floopy to cd. I insert my
floppy that has the pics on them, and the drive reads the dick. then I click
on move selected filed to cd, a cd-rw that I have the write tray. The pics
are wiped off the floppy and appear in the drive, telling me pics are ready
to be written to the disk. my question is this. I want to transfer more pics
to the same cd at a later date. when later comes, i insert the cd and it
starts playing auto. I esc and start thesame transfer as above. However when
I go to write the files to cd it says that the disk is no longer able to
recored, and insert another disk. What do I need to do to avoind that. I want
to add more pics to the same cd-rw, becasue I have a lot of pics on floppy.

Open My Computer and then your floppy drive and select the photos you want
to copy.
Look at the menu on the left, under Picture Tasks.
The last item is Copy to CD.
Use Copy to CD instead of Move.
Next time, use the same CD, Esc again the auto but you should be able now to
add to the same CD if you use the same Copy to CD command for your new
floppy.
