What sort of camcorder is it? Digital or analogue?How is it connected, composite cables/usb/firewire?
MM2 works best with firewire connected digital camcorders, or analogue cams
with an analogue capture card.
USB is really a no go. This can be used generally with the cams own capture
programmme, but the quaity does not match that of firewire connected cams.

Lisa, first thing is to check the ieee1394 bus host controller in devicemanager does not have a yellow !. Then check cable and cam... try to borrow
one of each that you know works.
