Transferring files and settings from XP question

Anybody have a clue if there is a way to restore info backed up using the
files and settings transfer wizard in XP home to a network drive? This "easy
transfer" is not so easy. I don't have a spare computer to backup on as
suggested. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
