Tricky Printer Sharing

Posted: 08-16-2006, 01:54 AM
Not sure if this is even possible, but here we go.

I have a printer that is shared in a machine on a VPN connected remote site,
the users at this site want to print to this machine from an application that
they use on a terminal server in the main site.

I would like to set this up as a locally installed printer on the terminal
server so that any user of the application can print to it.

Now auto printer config would be the obvious answer, however a lot of the
time the guys are not connected to the LAN in the office, as they are either
roaming or people in other offices need to send to it, so that wont work.

And I dont want to manually connect to the shared printer from everyones
Terminal Server Profile.

Is there a way to do this??????
