The virus has apparently infected your System Restore folder.
You'll need to turn-off System Restore, reboot, then turn it back on.
One cannot delete an individual Restore Point....it's all or nothing.

Your antivirus software behaved correctly.

'System volume information' is the folder where your restore points are
stored. Antivirus software does not repair restore points. Since a virus is
stored in one or more of your restore points, and since restore points
cannot be individully manipulated, you must delete all restore points. You
do this by turning off system restore on all drives, rebooting, re-enabling
system restore and then setting a restore point manually.
