Two Sound Cards - One mixer

I have two sound cards which I use for entirely different
purposes. I would like to be able to control them
separately with separate mixers, not just select the
sound card from a drop down selection menu.

Is this possible? If not are there any third party
programs that will accomplish this?

I am constantly having to adjust them. One controls the
cmedia onboard sound card for CDmusic, .wav and .mid and
system sounds, and the other one a communications program
that uses a dedicated SB Live! card.
