Default Un-installing Vista

Someone please help

instead of installing vista on my second drive I upgrade XP Home SP2 which
is now causing me no end of problems, what I need to do is remove vista and
start again however none of the options seem to work and I don't really want
to format my hard drive (this is more to do with the pain of reinstalling
every thing and anything I want on the PC then anything else) so can any body
plaese help me

You can format and then re-install the drive image you took of XP
before you over-wrote it with Vista.

Otherwise you re-install XP from scratch.
