Unable to connect to or delete wireless network printer

Posted: 01-18-2006, 08:31 PM
I have a Sony Vaio notebook running XP Home that is wirelessly networked with
a desktop running W2K Professional to which an HP1200 printer is attached.
The printer is shared, and it is recognized in the Control Panel>Printers &
Faxes window. I tried deleting the entry and reconnecting. Now I have 3 HP
1200s "recognized" but none will print. When I try to print a test page I get
a message: "Failed to print . . . unable to create print job." No matter how
many times I try to delete the printer and reboot, they won't
go away. TIA for your help
