Unable to copy address book

Strange machines, these computers. I have set up a dual boot system with Win98
and XP Home. My original OS was Win98. I want to copy my extensive Outlook
Express address book over to XP. I have IE6 with all updates in XP as is in 98.

I booted into 98, copied the "wab" to a floppy. I confirmed the file was copied
and looked at it on the floppy. I then booted into XP and looked at the file on
the floppy. It was the same file that exists in Outlook Express on the XP
partition!

I also open the wab with Windows Explorer, look at the file in C:\Program
Files\Outlook Express and it is NOT the same file that exists when I boot into
Win98. It is the same as E:\Program Files\Outlook Express\wab which is in XP.

Can anyone shed some light on what I'm doing wrong here?
