| The incompatibility between Win Vista Beta 2 32 bit and Symantec products is a real mess. The result is I cant use any Antivirus! I cannot install PCcillin for Vista since it finds the old Norton. I cannot uninstall Norton since I'm prevented by "Administrator permissions". I'm the owner and the Administrator and the only user but maybe the system doesn't allow me "special permissions". How can I get full permissions in order to wipe out Norton and install PCcillin? Thank you for an appropriate answer. Bertrand VICHYN | Guest

| I had serious compatibiity issues with all Norton products on windows XP, so I removed them. Do you have the Vista version of NAV? or were you trying to use the XP version? I was thinking about giving them a second chance, but if the new version doesn't work, I'll have to get a different AV program. to uninstall, try disabling UAC (Control Panel->User Accounts->Change Security Settings) "Bertrand Vichyn" wrote: Quote:
