Uninstall RC2 before installing final SP2????

According to all that Microsoft has said, it will NOT be necessary to
uninstall SP2-RC2 before installing the release vision of SP2. It is
supposed to install over ANY vision of XP regardless of updates that may or
may NOT have been installed. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if that
is all true.

Exactly, it is not required, but you can do whatever you want. I always
just do a clean install from a slipstreamed CD once RTM is released

Yeah Nathan has the Idea....NEVER install a final over an RC!

My computer updated to SP2 a couple of days ago and installed fine over
SP2-RC2
