Unsigned drivers keep getting replaced on reboot

Posted: 12-08-2003, 03:01 AM
How can I prevent Windows from "replacing" working,
albeit unsigned, drivers on reboot?
I have a Chaintech 7AJA2E mobo/VIA K133A chipset that has
some stupid issues with onboard and PCI audio. I have the
correct VIA drivers and when they're installed I can use
the onboard sound just fine. However, everytime I reboot,
Windows replaces the unsigned VIA drivers , namely VIA
AC'97 (WDM), hence no audio.
I have to reinstall them every time I boot and it's
getting old already. TIA
