unwanted auto start

Just recently purchased a new PC from Newegg that was Vista ready. I don't
use it for much else then light internet surfing and gaming.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Infinity 8300 Core 2 Duo E6850(3.00GHz) 2GB DDR2 500GB
Dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

The problem having is with one particular game, Guildwars. Start up is fine
but Mutli Media Center always starts up after I exit out of the game. Is
there a way to prevent this from occuring. Seriously considering uninstalling
MMC. This has not occured after closing any other games or applications.
