Default Upgrade Advisor error

When I run the Upgrade Advisor I get an error that says:
-------
"Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor could not connect to the server.
This is needed to check for any known compatibility issues associated with
your system's devices.
You may have lost your network connection or the server may be busy."
-------
WinSat runs fine so that's not the issue. I think this is where it checks
for drive compatibility.

I have NEVER been able to run the Advisor without this message. I've
reinstalled, tried running it on ten different computers and three different
networks with different ISPs. It's definately not MY problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Brian

Default Re: Upgrade Advisor error

MS came out with a updated Upgrade Advisor after Vista Beta 2 was released.
Have you downloaded the latest build and tried that?

Default Re: Upgrade Advisor error

The build I was having trouble with was 1.0.0000000.21.

I just downloaded 1.0.0000000.54 and am still having the same problems.
