Upgrade hangs when trying to Upgrade from XP to Vista

Posting replies is sometimes difficult on this site. I responded once soforgive the repeat.
Same thing happened to me. I was in a panic and "rolled" back to XP.
However, I tried again and this time I walked away at that point and came
back 1/2 hour later and Voila! It completed.. In other words, try it again
and give it time....

I have another problem, I can't get it to upgrade from XP Pro to Vista, Theupgrade feature is disabled and I only have the option to do a clean install

You have to run the Setup program within XP to get that option. It onlyworks for 32-bit Vista. 64-bit must be a clean install.
