After upgrading to Win XP the keyboard on my Quantex
computer no longer works. The system acts as if the
keyboard has been disconnected. The mouse still works.
What can I do to solve this problem?

Russ, you might have to upgrade the keyboard drivers for WinXP. This
is a PS2 Keyboard right? Not a USB?
Rt click MyComputer>select Prop>Hardware>Device Manager. See if
there's a yellow mark next to keyboard.
You can try rt clicking and selecting Uninstall. Let WinXP try and
reinstall the keyboard.

Try the following:
- See if your computer manufacturer has an updated BIOS
for your PC
- Make sure that Windows XP SP1 has been installed. SP1
fixed a few keyboar problems
- Make sure the USB Legacy Emulation setting in your BIOS
is set to enabled

After upgrading to XP (Home Edition) from Windows ME, system will not communicate with my H-P Laser-Jet 6P. Installed the H-P 6P driver from the installation disk, and tried the driver secured from the H-P web site. None worked.

Any suggestions?

If the laser was connected with ME and it stayed connected during the upgrade the only solutio
would be reinstall xp,upgrade w/o it connected.Otherwise if connected after, try uninstallin
in device mgr.,remove all drivers/software,unplug from computer, start from scratch after
reboot or two.
