get a box saying the feature you are trying to us is on a
network resourse that is unavailable click ok to try
again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing
the installation package DATA1.MSI in the box below after
many attempts i have given up but this box refuses to
close if you attempt to close it in msword it closes the
program you may gather from this i am no computer expert

Hello

Well to some degree you kinda created your own problem because
some Mfg's may not provide you with support if you change your
OS. Being that now your having a few issue's. I am pretty sure
that your laptop came with a restore cd whic you can use but back
up your data.

When you went through the Upgrade process from HM to XP Pro
did you have an option to save the previous OS or what did you do
at that point. Also it may want you to re-install MS -office if you
have the cdrom

Alvin
But do you have a restore cd for your laptop

I am not even going to begin to attempt to make any sense of that. Come back
when you've discovered punctuation! We are here to assist you BUT you have
to help us by posting using the commonly accepted conventions of modern
English.

Thank you

Greetings --

Is English a second or third language for you? If so, may I
suggest that you try posting your question in a news group dedicated
to your native language? I say this not to insult or offend, but
rather to point out that you're not likely to get much help, if no one
can understand what you're saying.

Otherwise, I'd suggest you start by reposting in standard English,
complete with paragraphs, sentences, capital letters where
appropriate, and punctuation. As it is, your post is undecipherable:
the words used are from the English language, but are almost
completely meaningless as currently assembled.

Help us help you:

Brucie, she's based in the UK, so I assumed English was her native tongue.
Check her email address.
