Re: USB 2.0 Problems

-For about fourteen days I went through the same agonizing grief, e.g.:
delete USB controllers and hubs, unplug devices, update drivers, etc.

Today, I went to my BIOS (AMI) ASUS motherboard and the ADVANCED tab in
BIOS menu.

I reset the USB 2.0 parameter to "enabled" and to "high speed". Why
it was "disabled" when for months 2.0 always worked, I'll never deduce.

That's all it took.

Why I never thought of it before, I'll never know.

But, all USB ports work beautifully.

Voila.

Good luck.
