USB altered registry and now sound card won't work

I just put a guitar-port USB on my computer and now my
sequencing program (vegas) cannot find the sound card
anymore.Everytine I put any program on my computer (other
than my pulsar that affects the registry my system loses
the soundcard and I have to do a reformatt of the computer
and reload the xp operating system. I am using a pulsar 2
from creamware as my soundcard.

Did you read the instructions that came with the guitar port installation a
to the proper sequence to use with WinXP
You may need to reinstall it or uninstall it first and maybe le
WinXP run its "plug&play" feature
Remember - "If all else fails, read instructions"!
