If you know the manufacturer of your motherboard check their site for
updated drivers. If it's an added-in card try their site for drivers.

What are the brand and models of controllers? Something to try in the
meantime is some controllers have capacitors that get fully charged and then
they either disconnect or become unidentifiable. Either try disconnecting
them for a decent period of time (6 hours or so) or try unplugging them and
temporarily (and carefully) shorting the contacts inside the plug for a few
seconds. Then plug them back in and see if they work again.
