USB Missing in Computer

I have had USB all the time but now after using recovery
cd, I cannot use my web camera because the USB unit is
not in the computer. that the USb unit is not activated.
I have gone to the system, search new machines which are
instaled but not yet used, instaled, and searched for new
drivers but it does not help.
Please can you help me???..............
USB frustrated. Just tell me what I should do I will
learn it at once. I worry it is problem with mother
bord??
