USB Mouse and & Sound Issues: Possible Conflict??

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately none of your recommendations have helped
and no connflicts appeared. I have since tried a few more
things such as moving the sound card to other PCI slots
(although my understanding is that it will get handled by
WinXP anyway). So then I tried a different sound
card...still no change...same problems).However, when I
remove the card completely...voila! no mouse problems!
Mmmmmm.... I cant live without the sound card.... so what
to do....? Any more ideas?

oh and just a bit more info:

I have an MS 104 keyboard and mouse both attached to a
KVM switch (and NO, its not convenient to unhook and plug
in direct to PC). I have had this configuration for a
couple of years at least. At some point i DID have it all
working together without a problem and except for an
audio software re-install and windows and virus scan
updates, nothing has changed. A7V333 w/RAID motherboard
(auio onboard is disabled).
