| that pretty much sums it up. My mouse works fine in linux, but as soon as Vista boots the light goes out. As soon as I unplug it and plug it back in its fine. It worked fine during the installation as well. This is a laptop, never had a problem with it before. | Guest

| Glad to hear it. I have had problems with a couple of usb devices and there are plenty of bug reports about others. Mice, keyboards, external hard drives, thumb drives and all manner of things. Some brands never glitch and some do. "Travis King" <Puterman@mchsi.com> wrote in message news:%23OUZHJalGHA.3528@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... Quote:

| My mouse is a Logitech MX510 and my keyboard is a Logitech Elite keyboard. Both are also compatible with PS/2. "Colin Barnhorst" <colinbarharst(remove)@msn.com> wrote in message news:Oc%238DPalGHA.4540@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... Quote:

| My Microsoft optical USB mouse "pauses" when scrolling across the screen. Would this be part of the "usb issues" with Vista? "Travis King" wrote: Quote:

| Fixed. My driver for my GeForce 5200FX card was causing my CPU usage to hold steady between 19-25%. Updated the driver, Visita is now screaming along.! "John Barnes" wrote: Quote:
