| I use this between a Win2K and a WinXP machine. In the Win2K it gives me the message "It's now safe to remove" after clicking the remove hardware icon in System Tray but in XP it just disappears from the external devices box, no message. Is this normal in XP? It doesn't appear to do any harm removing it after this (?) but am wondering why no message. -- Kenny | Guest

| The three that I have plugged into USB hub two are FAT (32mb) and one FAT32 (64mb). The remove safely notice started when I installed the 64mb drive and is the only one with password option. I have just removed them 100 times and plugged into my handheld PDA and no problems with data. The FAT32 did not defrag until a few months ago....now it defrags. I am looking to get a 512mb drive this week. -------------------------------------------- Britney Spears has a star on Walk of Fame.?????? ---------------------------------------------- Quote:
