User Account Corruption

Posted: 04-21-2004, 07:26 PM
Problem Description: This problem only happens on one
user account. All other user accounts except the one in
question are fully functionable and have no known issues.
The issue began after a roadrunner technician came and
installed roadrunner onto the system.
Upon logging on to the account in question you recieve
the error message JRQL is not less or equal, on a blue
screen.
A system restore was attempted to restore the software
settings, but apparently System restore had been disabled
by the roadrunner technician or one of the other users.
MSCONFIG was ran from another user profile to see if it
would help the issue, and now it will go into that
profile but give us the message "Windows has recovered
from a serious error".
It would then go into the user accounts desktop but all
his personal icons and thigns he customized were gone.
Now what I need to know is, is this a known issue?, and
if it is not, do you have any ideas I may try to fix
this, and if not, I need the default location of all
personal settings and file locations that are saved only
on one user account so that i may recreate that account
as closely to the original if necessary to create a new
account.

Try treating this as a corrupt user profile. See the following Knowledge
Base Article for help with this issue:
