user account does not appear in the user accounts control panel

similar occurance, some of the accounts were missing when
I used the Control Panel. But I use Computer Management
to manage users and groups not the User Accounts in the
Control Panel. If you use the control panel-User
accounts, with an Administrator account select the
advanced tab and then the advanced button. Go to the
Users folder and you should see the rest of your user
accounts. Then you should be able to reset the password
and log on as that user.
