| I have decided to set up 2 accounts on my pc for myself and my brother. For my account I have used a password, but not used one for my brother. For some reason my computer will not accept my password, so the only account that I can gain access to is my brothers. The problem is that I cannot change my password from my brothers account because he has limited access, I cannot create another account whilst logedon as my brother due to his limited access. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO DELETE MY PASSWORD OR CHANGE IT FROM MY BROTHERS ACCOUNT?? If there isn't then will I need to uninstall the current software and reinstall windowsXP.(Please note that I have already tried to do this but it was unsuccessful as only the administrator(me)can do this, but I cannot due to the fact that I need my password(which the computer wont accept). WOT CAN I DO... | Guest

| Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and logging on as "Administrator"? That may allow you to go to the user applet in the control panel and delete the password you set up for yourself. Quote:
