User Accounts---Problems---Please Read

Ok I have XP Pro...just got it a week ago. I am trying
to add usser accounts to my system. To test them I
opened one. As soon as I did I got a whole slew of
divices drivers not loaded, errors, could not click on my
computer, could use IE, and my processor consumpution
went to 80% and it was the only one logged on. It then
gave me a "server busy" pop-up. When I hit goto my start
menu popped up and when I hit retry it beeped and did
nothing. As I was logging off the my computer screen
finnally popped up. I want others to be able to use my
computer but I don't want to give them admin rights. Any
help would be appreciated.
