Default user permissions from local computer to network share

Looking for some suggestions regarding network shares. One program, (business
app), requires the logged user to have both the network user and the same
local computer user to have admin privileges, in XP this works ok, you can
see both the local user and the network user in the share permissions,
however in vista ultimate, I can't add the local user to the network share.
Help!
